Why Choose Us

What keeps customers coming back

Same crew since 1994

32 years on the same equipment pads, the same neighborhoods, often the same families. Dennis Petty still runs the company. Our techs aren't gig workers, they're W-2 employees who stick around. That's why your route doesn't get flipped every six months.

Licensed, insured, A+ rated

California Contractors License #971699 (good standing through 2028, classification C-53), full general liability and workers' comp insurance, BBB A+ profile rating without paid accreditation. Verify any of it before you hire us. Ask any other contractor to do the same.

Parts on the truck

We stock the parts that fail first, pump seals, capacitors, pressure switches, gas valve modules, salt cell flow switches, common o-rings and unions. Most repairs close in one visit instead of three trips and a week-long parts wait. Your pool isn't down for the weekend.

Residential only, South Bay only

We don't chase commercial accounts, HOA bids, or routes outside the South Bay. Smaller book of clients in San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell, and Willow Glen means more attention per pool, not more pools per tech. It's why our customers stay 10, 20, 30 years.

Customer Reviews

What customers say on Google

"K&D Pools was very knowledgeable and helpful in restoring functionality of my pool filtration system and controller. They offered several options and did the work without issue. I would recommend them to other pool owners who have older systems."

"I have had a fantastic experience working with Dennis and his team. Our pool was in pretty rough shape, but K&D managed to restore it without pushing any unnecessary or expensive equipment upgrades—they simply made the most of what we already had. They now handle our monthly maintenance, and everything has been running perfectly ever since. I could not recommend them more."
